Renovating older single-wide - roof structure.
Does anybody know if there are any structural restrictions on renovating an older Single-wide? I want to raise a roof in the cental part- above the living room. Can the walls carry more load than it was originally designed?
This is in Western North Carolina, not too much snow, but still new rafters will be heavier than old roof trusses.
What do I need to be aware of?
    Thank you.
