    IP Conlflict
    Hi,
We have a server (Windows 2003 SP1) at our datacentre. Some times it gives System Error as IPConflict. How to find out which system/MAC address is conflicting with this? :)

    Regards.
    Hacker.

If its an IP Conflict then its not a MAC address. MAC addresses are hard coded and unique.

Is the server using a hard coded IP? If so, that's the address. Could be either that address isn't being excluded from your DHCP scope or someone is hardcoding it into a different machine.

Might be helpful to check the event/audit logs to narrow down any potential problems.
