How to work sine
1) Find H using phythagoras
2) Find F° then inverse to find F°
3) Find sin G° and consequently G°
4) Check that 90° F° G° =180°
5) Finally check that cosF° when inversed gives you the same answer
H=4^2 2^2=H
16 4=20
H=sqr20
= 4.47
2) Tan =F 2/4=0.5 tan-1
=26.56
I'm kind of stuck on how to work the rest
Hypontenuse = H
Adjacent 4cm
side 2cm

Please refer to this AMHD announcement:
“Do not simply retype or paste a question from your book or study material
We won't do your homework questions for you. You were given the assignment for you to learn.
If you come up with your own answer and post it for us to critique that is within reason.
If you have some SPECIFIC questions that you couldn't find or didn't understand, we may help with that.
But this is your assignment, so show us you have at least attempted to complete it on your own.
Thank you.”

I took "I'm kind of stuck on how to work the rest" as a request for someone to work this out for you. Sorry if I misunderstood.
It looked copied (maybe with something missing - ?) to me.
Please don't attempt to dictate who will and will not answer you.

ABD19 - if you reread your post you can see that much of it did not post correctly on this site. Unfortunately you cannot copy and paste from another application into this web site or the special characters end up looking funny, so please type it out so that it is legible. I am guessing that you have atriangle with dimensions as shown in the attached figure - is this correct? You've already determned that the hypotenuse is sqrt(20), and that angle F is Arctanget(2/4). Angle G can be found by either arctangent(4/2) or arcsine(4/sqrt(20)). Hope this helps.

hi
it suppose to be degree sign I used it from word, I worked out tan f and inverse but I don't know how to get to sin g and consequently g I have done some working out but it doesn't add up to 180degree.

Angle G = arcsin(4/sqrt(20)) - do you see why this is (sine = opposite over adjacent)? You can then use your calculator to find 4/sqrt(20)= 0.8944, and arcsin(0.8944) = 63.44 degrees. So now you have: 90+F=G = 90+26.56+63.44 = 180 degrees. Voilà!
