Felon on deverison.. PO said I am now a pov
I am serving an 8 year probation for 34,000 in restatution. I have been paying 400.00 every month since 2009. When I went to see my po this past week he said I am now a pov, I did not even know what that meant, He said I did not pay my restatution, I said yes I did, I have prof, I found out the DA had called the attorney of where my payments go to be paid to the victim. Come to find out the attorney told the DA I did not pay nov, Oct.Septand Aug payments as well as deb and march of this year, I told my PO I did pay all except deb and march for I had no job at that time, My boss had died, And I mailed proff to my PO, The attorney did called me back and said he just receved payment dated back from the post office for oct and nov payments, but has not receved aug and sept payments, I told him again I mailed them back on there due dates, I then mailed another 800.00 to cover the missing amounts to the attorney as well to my Po, I told my po Decembers payment will be makes off Dec 23. Again I will mail a copy to my Po to show prof, So am I in vop? Can my PO stop me from being arrested and having to go to court? I have an excellent job and I know I will lose it if I go to jail, I never had a recored. Until now, but it's not on recored because it's in dervision, If I am arrested it will be a recored and I can lose my dirvision, Help! Anyone know how this will go? I was told I can not post bail, what a mess I am in.

Why are you not paying though the court, but paying directly to an attorneys office?

If you are behind in payments ( don't care if there was a earthquake and a title wave, if it is not paid, it is not paid and a violation.

Next how are you paying, checks ? Money orders ? Do you have your receipts to prove they were paid ?

Next how are you mailing them, I would mail them where you have proof of receipt.

    Where? Are you in Canada?

Question - did you miss payments? Have you made them up? Did you explain that you would be late when the payments were due - or did you just not make them?

I pay money orders every month to the victims attorney , I was told to do so. I am not behind now in payments, I just paid February and march payments to the attorney, I mailed Copys to my PO, every month there after was paid in full with receipts, I paid again for aug and sept. The attorney stated there still missing, Dec payment will be mailed out next week when I get paid again, I live in Tn and I am a senior lady. With no prior record in my entire life, So what do you think will happen?

The attorney informed me this past week he just now receved Oct and nov payments post marked Oct and nov by the us post office. Apparently there is a big delay in the mail,
