Id really like to know if the person we are going to marry is already defined by Allah SWT, or Allah SWT will give us options and its up to US to decide what we want? Its beautiful to think that it is decreed by Allah SWT but the how do we explain the wrong marriages? When people marry and then get divorced? Why would Allah SWT chose someone wrong for us? And make us suffer? Then we can't blame people when they do wrong choices about the person they chose to marry. Because Allah wanted so. It seems more obvious to think that Allah SWT gives us options and we decide. We js have to pray to ALLAH SWT to help us chose the right person and not fall into repentance for a wrong choice later. THis is really confusing me and I would like to know what is ISlams approach to it. JazakAllah

Marriages are destined by Allah.

Regarding wrong marriages, it's the fault of human beings and not Allah.

Explanation:
Allah has created all of us Maasoom (innocent) and he gave all of us the free will to choose between good and evil. However Islam is the only major religion that gives an option for divorce unlike Christianity, Hinduism, etc.

And Allah is knower of all things
