We got a 10 week old puppy that was covered in fleas/ticks and gave her a bath with the flea/tick shampoo. She seems a little warm and sometimes when she sleeps she pants. Is it normal for puppies to be warm and pant when they sleep?

If your puppy was covered in fleas and ticks. There's a good chance the pup might have an infection from the parasites or one of the disease that parasites carry.

You should take her into the vet just to be sure.

Also, puppies often feel warmer than you would expect because they are normally warmer than people. Normal temperature is 101.5 F. Breath rate can also be from what she is dreaming. Puppies dream of something, and she will breathe faster, have facial twitches, as well as other body twitches and movements. May even whine or yip or even bark while asleep.

Like all babies, puppies will spend a lot of time sleeping. Watch her while playing. She will suddenly just stop playing and go somewhere quiet to take a nap, if she doesn't simply lay down on the spot and snooze.
