    Steering hard and battery light flickering
    Went to back out at store and all of a sudden it became hard to steer and battery light was flickering truck is a Ford Sporttrack any ideas where to begin?

    Sounds like your belt is slipping or broken.

    Yes I would say for sure belt, the power steering pump is not getting turned, and the alternator is not turning to charge the battery.
