    Model665.1392?
I have a Kenmore Elite Ultra Wash Dishwasher Model 665.1392 and the unit stopped drying dishes completely. The "blue lite-DRYING" does not come on anymore at the end of the wash cycle. Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You will have to use a meter to find out what has failed. Turn off power and trace wires coming from heating element, but first unplug one wire on element and read across element. It should read between 10-35 ohms or close. If that's okay read from each wire back to the source. There is a high limit thermostat in series with one of the wires. As you trace the wires you will see it attached to the side of the unit. Read across that thermostat. If it's open you will have to replace it and your problem will probably be solved. With the power off you may be able to read from the black power supply wire coming out of the junction box to the wires supplying power to the element when timer is turned to place where it should be drying. Go here for wiring diagram: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/questions/253897-kenmore-dishwasher-model-66515912000-wiring-diagram
I hope this helps. The only way to fix this is to use a meter.

Here is a link for the repair manual. Whirlpool makes it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/whirlpool.pdf
The link will only be good for two days.
