Hi- I've had this small mole on my shoulder for some time that seems to disappear and then reappear off and on. It's not painful-- just weird. Anyway, it seems to be away more than it's there, so it's hard to coordinate a time to see the doctor about it. Do you think it's anything to worry about, and does anyone have any idea what it may be. Thanks in advance!

A mole doesn't appear and disappear. It has to be something else.

I'd make the appointment and see what the Doctor has to say.

Thanks. It's weird though-- it looks just like a mole. Any idea what it might be if it isn't one?

I have the same thing on my forehead, I actually remembered to ask my doctor about it when I was in last time and pulled up my hair and it was gone comepletely, no trace, and now 2 months later the same spot there is a mole, no rise in tissue just a brown discolored weird spot that is about the size of 2 grains of rice.

I have one also that appears and disappears. I have an appointment tomorrow to see what it is while it has made it's appearance again.

I have one on my left arm just below my shoulder it comes and goes once or twice a month. I'mma die!
