    Abs light comes on 2001 Chevrolet Malibu?
    Abs light comes on 2001 Malibu chervolet. Sounds like my front brakes are squeaking some as well. Do that mean I have to replace brakes?

    Here's what I would do:

    . Check for ABS codes.

    . Install new pads (Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic), lubricate caliper pins with silicone grease, completely change brake fluid with DOT 3 ABS brake fluid (Valvoline), clean ABS sensors with a rag and WD-40, and clear codes.
