Why do I doubt my girlfriend when I know she will never cheat on me. I get so irritated when she talks to other males. In the past there have been incidents where she has given others oppurtunity to come close, I don't really understand what is happening with me.

If being jealous has not caused problems in your relationship so far, it will down the road.

Jealousy, acted out, is usually about fear, and insecurity. Those things can relate to not being able to trust, and be trusted in return. It all gets very complicated, because emotions take over, and facts take a back seat, as does communication.

Speak to her.

Tell her that you are having feelings of doubt, and find yourself getting jealous, and you need to re-establish a good, healthy line of communication. If you talk, instead of act on emotions, you will hopefully feel confident again in the relationship.

It is a terrible position to be in, without understanding why, and it is also a terrible position for your partner to be in, particularly if she is completely innocent.

Even assumptions of wrong doing are enough to eventually ruin a relationship.

If all you are feeling right now is doubt, and you have not acted on it with arguing, and things getting out of hand, try to address your thoughts and feelings in a mature way. Getting down about it, or moody, or withdrawing from communicating will only make matters worse.
