    Could I be pregnant?
I started birth control pills on October 2nd and wasn't due for period until Oct. 26th but I got my period Oct. 16th and it lasted about two weeks. I have had unprotected sex mutiple times while on BC but never got pregnant(I"m not trying to.) This month I should have started on Nov. 23rd but no period so I haven't had a period since Oct. 16th. I've been on the same BC before and my periods were always right on time never failing. Now I'm experiencing headaches almost everyday in the past two weeks, bleeding gums, dizzy spells, nausea, fatigue but I have trouble sleeping at night sometimes, although my schedule is pretty routine, cramps like I'm on my period but again I haven't started, lower back pain, and craving foods I normally hate and I can't even look at fish without wanting to vomit though it's one of my favorite foods. I took a HPT on Monday which was 5 days after my missed period but is was negative. Could I be pregnant? I realize I might sound paranoid but I just need to know.

    Hi bassgirl,

It could be due to pregnancy, or perhaps due to the pills, even though you were fine on them before.

I would either wait and see what happens when you expect your period for this month, or check with your doctor. They will do a pregnancy test there.
