    Will they keep my juvinile son locked up if parent has to move out of state
    My child is in a juvilnile detention center in mi and I have to move to Texas for a new job.
    Do you think the judge will allow my son to leave with me being I am his only parent and farther does not live in MI.

    Have you spoken with his probation officer yet or tried to find out what is going to happen upon his release if he is still incarcerated ?

    No, when his time in detention is up, you will merely go back and pick him up. But will have to arrange with probation ( assuming he will be on it) to allow him to go to Texas.
