    Hi
I have a Vaio VGN-C1Z/B - it's the work laptop, not sure how old. I won't get any further than the dreaded blue screen. It looks like it's going to start - lights come on, gets the 'sony Vaio' screen, then goes to black screen saying ' resuming windows' then blue screen then nothing. Then when I turn it off it says it's hibernating, as if it has low battery! I've disconnected it, taken battery out, left it for a while before replacing, but it's not working...
    Any ideas out there? :(

Make sure you are turning it off and not just placing it back into hibernation. When it is on hold down the power key until you see the lights go out and here the HD heads park usually a tink or click sound then try to reboot. This may help let us know
