This is weiad in my dreams I see things happening and when I wake up a week or so later I see it happen in the world like I dreamt I went ice sk8ing and someone brokethere leg in the middle of the rink a week later it happened am I scikick?

It's almost certainly just a combination of coincidence, generalized guesses, and wishful thinking... But.. I've experienced similar episodes of prediction (not in dreams though) and some of those predictions were very specific and far removed from chance.

I'm 95% sure that you aren't predicting the future for real, but it might be real.

I come from the school of thought that we create our own reality from the thoughts we entertain. Try it. Experiment a little. Think of something you want to see and when you are out and about the chances of you seeing it are very high.

Make it something quite unusual... so instead of a red post box (which are all over the UK) think of say a blue feather, or a yellow feather - your choice. Then keep your eyes opened for a blue feather. It can be anywhere; in a hat, on the side of a van, in a shop window. Anywhere. If that doesn't convince you, think of something even more unusual and try again.

I truly believe this is why it is so important to cultivate more positive thinking and a more positive attitude.

We do have control of our thoughts, it just takes some practise. Begin to think more about the things you want and less and less about the things you don't want.

We all have some sort of unexplainable ability to forsee things. Family member of mine is able to tell us within 3 days that something is very wrong before it even happens with a certain person.

I believe what you're describing is déjà vu.

I'm not too sure I'm convinced by what you're saying blue rose, it sounds like a simple case of "if youre looking for something, you'll find it".
Ordinarily you would discard a blue feather, but if you're thinking about finding a blue feather and you do find one, you'll be all "I found this blue feather because I was thinking about a blue feather".

BUT I do agree that having a positive outlook creates good luck and good outcomes, through motivating people around you to have the same positive outlook and thus giving you "good luck" by being kind.

It's a very interesting topic and I think the mind is very good at creating patterns out of nothing, which is why so many beliefs in horoscopes and tarot are out there (plus these practices have had many hundreds of years practice of casting as wide a net as possible).

I'm certainly a skeptic, but I do believe that many of these practices have hidden merits.

Déjà vu is quite simply a small split second glitch in your mind, making you feel like "this has already happened."

I've had déjà vu for periods of several minutes at a time. It's very unnerving but I realise what it is. Everything happens as I "remember" it, then something unexpected happens and it is broken (normally the something unexpected isn't very out of the ordinary, I just don't "remember" it)

I believe people can have visions of the future in their dreams. Dreams that come true give you that heads up of what will happen. Never doubt yourself no matter what anybody says to you. This is a true gift. I have experienced lots of dreams that did come true.

Déjà vu is completely different then dreams coming true. Déjà vu has nothing to do with what you have experienced.

BBut when you see a situation in real life and go "i'm sure i saw that in a dream I had or something", that's déjà vu, it's important that the OP can clarify (at least in her own mind) whether the dream was "remembered" before or after the event. If it's after the event then it's symptomatic of déjà vu.

Since she didn't specify, I applied Occam's Razor and assumed that paranormal ability is more complex than déjà vu.

Very well explained. You see my dreams are so vivid and I know the real ones to the not. I would write them down and when it did happen that was my verification that my dreams of many did come true many times. Whenever I would have one, whoever is going to be effected by it. I would share it with them. That is another verification because they would have happen to them exactly what I dreamed about and warned them about.


Hopefully the OP will pipe up and explain her experience in more detail.
