    Moen posi-temp valve
    My moen posi temp shower valve when all the way to the coldest setting still supplies water 6 degrees warmer than my lav faucett in the same bathroom. Any answer as to why?

    Even at the coldest setting it could still allow minimal hot water through the mixing valve due to where it is set. On the lav faucet you don't have a temperature controlled mixing valve.
