    Can you have a felony and become a 911 operator?
    I have a felony for fraud for cashing bad checks and they gave me the first time offender act and I have an test to take in the morning for a 911 operator and wondering would I be wasting my time taking the test

    It may differ by location, in many places you would have access to NCIC records and as such it is POST regulated. So for those you could not do it.

    You need to ask the HR department of your local 911 to see.

    My opinion will say no, or even if yes, there will be so many people applying, that it would be hard to get it.
