Find old movie titles?
Looking for the title of an old B&W film; around the 40's; the synopsis centers around a woman who is supposed to be getting engaged to one man and has been in love with another man - the engagement is supposed to be announced at a New Years Eve or Christmas party. A lot of the scenes take place in the children's playroom - other scenes involve the ballroom of the mansion. The woman ends up running off with the man she has loved since childhood (?)
I hope I am not mixing up with another movie... the best I can remember, the woman had short, curly blond (?) hair. Thoroughly enjoyed this film - would like to get the title. |
