Hello:
In the REAL world, Christians are in charge.. In FOX News world, there's a war on Christmas and Christians are an endangered species.
Which world do you reside in?

Hello again, tom:
Not particularly... But, it's something he trots out every year at this time. Do you want me to find one or more of his idiotic rants?? That shouldn't pose a problem.
But, it's not just him... It's ALL the political people over there. ALL OF 'EM.

You know very well that the last group it's PC OK to mock are Christians... especially Catholic nuns.
You know very well there is a concerted effort to remove references to the religious aspects of the holiday season. I don't know how wide spread it is... however ,I see nothing wrong with there being public awareness of such attempts.

I haven't heard him start his war on the war of Christmas thing this year, but if there is one (and there is) our side is apparently getting some victories.

At what point did you discover Christians are in charge? From my point of view it is a very different people who like to remain well hidden. Christians are an endangered species on many parts of the planet and real Christians represent a very small percentage of the general population.
We are blessed indeed not to be subjected to Fox News but I'm sure we see the results in other forms. I'm surprised your media is at all interested in Christian matters. Where I come from the Christian interest is completely ignored

There is actually a revival of Christianity in many 3rd world nations... unfortunately... the US is now at best a missionary nation.

Yes Tom that's where materialism gets you, belief in nothing but the great god, SELF.
We would be happy to send you some missionaries if we could find some

School prayer was outlawed decades ago, so why are Muslims allowed to pray in the cafeteria in Toronto public schools, any other group would no be allowed to do it so why should Muslims keep getting their way all the time? Western countries need to stop coddling them and letting them get away with everything. In Oslo, Norway, local women are afraid to go out in public because of an epidemic of rape by Muslim men who think that they can rape any woman who isn't wearing a headscarf. The wimpy media can't even say that Muslims are responsible, instead referring to them as "non-Western" immigrants, which is false and an insult to the many law-abiding non-immigrants.

Hello earl:
I don't know about Canadian law, but it wouldn't be permitted in the US. At least ORGANIZED prayer wouldn't be. A few people gathered together to quietly pray on school grounds WOULD be perfectly OK.

If he's an idiot, then why did so many stores return to acknowledging Christmas after he started his counter-offensive?

Hello again, Steve:
Oh, he's an idiot, all right. But, he's a POWERFUL idiot. All he'd have to do is mention that Kohls, for example, is saying happy holidays, and NOT what he'd like them to say, and their Christmas season will bust.

And if the majority did not share his view ,then Kohl's wouldn't have to worry about it.

Hello again:
Couple things here.
Steve reported that some stores have RETURNED to saying Merry Christmas after apparently being intimidated by O'Reilly. I didn't question whether it was so or not, I only suggested that if it was, WHY it was.
In fact, I don't know of any stores that are doing that AS A RESULT of an attack by O'Reilly.

OK, so O'Reilly had a lot of help from the American Family Association and the Catholic League, but he had the audience to get the message out and the people responded. Is this a great country or what?
P.S. How's that donut tasting this week?

Show me a store that did that and I will show you an idiot running that store. You are giving this idiot credit for something he doesn't deserve doing.
Bill took a hot topic, made it his own, and no retailer in America listens to Bill when it comes to making customers come through the door.

Exactly. People that spend money threatened not to spend money and Christmas is once again Christmas, not happy whatever.
