    Normal period but still pregnant
I had unprotected sex a couple days before my period. I took emergency contraceptives right away. What I want to know is if it is still possible to get pregnant even though I had my period on time and it was normal. I am pregnant right now but I would like to know if I could be pregnant from that time?

Yes, it is possible. If you are concerned about paternity you will have to have a paternity test done once the baby is born.

Are you saying you had a normal period after the time in question?

Yes I am. My period was normal and on time after I had unprotected sex.

Normally a woman ovulates 2 weeks after a period ends. The only time you can get pregnant is when you are ovulating. Also you can continue to bleed after being pregnant but it will normally be lighter than your normal period. I am not saying it is impossible to have gotten pregnant at that point but I will say that it is highly doubtful. Of course once the baby is born a paternity test will dispel any doubts should you choose to do one. Good luck.
