How do I access the Backlight Settings on a Visio TV?
I went to picture settings because I need to change my backlight settings. When I went down to backlight settings it just jumped over it to the setting below backlight. How can I access the backlight setting?

Try changing the picture settings to something like "standard", "movie", or "custom."

If you're in a dynamic mode or something like that, it won't let you make certain adjustments.

I already tried that and it didn't do anything. But thank you so much for the idea :)

Look for an option that has something like dynamic contrast and turn it off. It might also have something about an optical sensor or light sensor that adjusts the backlight. Different manufacturers have different names for it, but it might say at the bottom what each highlighted option does.

Basically any settings that adjust the backlight automatically, you want disabled. Then it might enable custom adjustment of the backlight setting.

If this doesn't help, also make sure you are running the latest firmware for your TV. Check Vizio's website for the latest firmware. This can usually be easily updated by connecting a USB flash drive to the TV's USB/Service port. Or if the TV is connected to the Internet, you might be able to find a software upgrade/update option in the menu somewhere and download it straight through the TV.
