What do I have to pay in restitution?
I was charge with forgery $10,000 or less in a criminal cases against me. I found out the my warrant was written out the wrong way and they are more checks involved that they don't have proof that I wrote them. I want to know can my charge can be change under sc law. My warrant has on it Forgery $10,000 or less and the $98.00 dollar check that was cashed. However, the amount of checks that was cash total about $3,000 dollar ,but others were involved with cashing a book of checks too. Also, I want to know under law of SC will I have to pay restitution for the just $98.00 check that's stated on my warrant?

    Moved to Criminal law

Your warrant is not what is important, it is the formal charges that will be charged against you in court. So unless you are released and they want to put you back in jail to change your bond, they will not issue a new warrant.
But yes they can issue a new warrant if they want.

But the issue is again not the warrant but the formal charges the DA will press, and they can change the charges, add additional charges anytime if they want.

Next, also depending on the account and time frame, they can change you with a separate crime for each check, not just one crime for all the checks

And no one will know resitution till you are convicted and the judge orders it.
He will order you to pay all of the money that the person lost from your actions. If they can prove or get you convicted of other bad checks, you will have to pay all of them back. Also if the person was out other fees, or costs, you may have to pay all of those back.
