If a child was brought to the united state at a tender age illegal and living here for almost all her/his life and she decides to get married. Would they approves it

Aprroving a marriage has nothing to do with legal status. She would remain illegal unless she took steps to change her status, meaning she has to apply and follow all the requirements they ask for... and wait. Many times she has to leave before it would get processed. Marriage doesn't magically change it... and it doesn't matter WHAT nationality the husband is.

If that person is marrying an American citizen, then yes. Why doesn't this person go and get their status changed? If they speak English and have been going to school and working here for that many years with no criminal record, it should be relatively simple to get citizenship. I suggest using a payphone to call the immigration office to ask what the procedure is and the chance of success. I would also suggest contacting an immigration attorney for a free consult on the matter. Marriage may be quicker?

That's is so completely NOT true...

Marrying a citizen doesn't automatically make them eligible for a status change. I've been through that before with my wife, who was not born and raised a US citizen, and in fact had never even visited here before we married overseas. Where I was working and living at the time... it took several years to get her approved..

Its far from simple... and its NOT automatic.

I have no idea, what Tinner was talking about, call using a pay phone ? For heaven sake why ? Next getting married, only makes you a married illegal, nothing more.

I have no idea why you are confusing this person.

But no an immigration attorney is a real good idea, but you will need to apply and be granted visa to legally be here in the US.

The reason I commented the way I did is because I just went through a similar situation with my brother who married a Hispanic living here illegally for 12 years. She spoke perfect English, etc... applied for citizenship and although it took some time, the process from there was fairly easy. As far as a "payphone", many illegals are fearful of the immigration office and know that caller idea and reverse 411 is an easy way of telling the authorities where you are. It was merely a suggestion if they felt uneasy.
Why do you hate? Most of my answer was suggestions! AND... BTW... where is YOUR answer, smoothy??

Read my post... I already gave it, Post #4. I've been through this EXACT situation. Personally... with my wife. Marrying an American is NOT an automatic green card... its not even a guarantee you will even get one, much less get one quickly.

My wife was Italian, and was NOT illegal.

I can also refer to any number of green card holding people I know who can't even get their spouses here for any number of reasons... even though they were foolish enough to believe otherwise.
