    Yu-gi-oh cards
What would be the best yu-gi-oh strategy for any deck full of random cards?

I don't anything about these yugioh cards, but I would think the strategy deck would be set up better for beginners. Do they also sell starting decks?

Sorry if you're not a beginner. I am not trying to call you one.

I'm not and yes, they do sell starting decks however, I'm not interested in them. I am interested as to what the best strategy for any deck is(if there is such a thing).

Defensive traps e.g draining shield, magic cylinder etc. Traps that negate effects e.g trap jammer, magic drain, magic jammer etc. Equip spells e.g. mage power, black pendant but not to many equip cards because it makes the duel boring, also cards like swords of revealing light and call of the haunted are good to use, I would also recommend a mystical space typhoon. Monster cards like Luster Dragon, little winguard and gemini elf are good for random decks, basically cards that have over 1600 attack or have nifty effects, some high levels I would recommend would be Summoned skull, cyber-tech alligator and elemental hero bladedge.

Well for a deck full of random cards I suggest you learn what the cards can do as fast as you can. The best strategy is to learn how to use your cards in combination with each other. That way even with a deck filled with random cards you can at least put up a decent fight in a duel. If your able to figure out the various card levels the deck has, to many high level monsters will weaken your deck. While at the same time to many low level monsters will increase the amount of monsters you can summon (lv.4 and lower) but they won't last very long in battle.
