    Grohe Kitchen Faucet leak
I have a Grohe Kitchen Faucet, I looked online and it looks like a Europlus Dual Spray Pullout Model 33-939. It is leaking under the sink from the Faucet where the cold and hot water lines go into the faucet housing under the sink. It only leaks when the (hot, cold, on, off) handle is not centered between hot and cold. In other words, dead smack in the middle.

Does anyone know what this could be? Who ever installed the faucet and sink made it almost impossible to remove from the bottom without braking something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Geointl

Most likely the faucet needs to be disassembled from the top and you will need to install new ORINGS... available at most GROHE distributers or from GROHE company... ;)

Remove the handle and see if you see water in under the handle/cartridge... if so, then I am pretty accurate in my suggestion.

    Back to you...

I looked under the cartridge it was wet but not a lot of water. Orings look OK. When I looked there are two sets of orings in each hole. One soft and one that sits inside that is hard plastic. Is this correct?

Reassembled and now it leaks even worse then before. But only when faucet is on. Not when it is pushed all the way to the off position.

Any other suggestions. Could it be the cartridge?

    Thanks.
