    2006 honda civic lx problem it won't start?
    My 2006 civic won't start I turn the key and I don't hear the fuel pump but it starts with starting fluid any ideas.

    . Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Be very thorough.

    . Check for codes.

    . Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.

    . Check for fuel.

    . Check for spark--focus on the Camshaft Position Sensor and the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

My car seemed to run out of gas on the highway (sputter, die, coast then restart- repeat). I put some gas in it and it wouldn't restart.
