    My system says I have 248 Mb of ram but I know I have 2 gb of ram?
    My system says I have 248 Mb of ram but I know I have 2 gb of ram? And I want to put windows 7 on my comp. But it won't let me. Someone please help me

    If your system only shows as having 248 Mb RAM than that is all it can use.
    There is clearly a problem with your 2 GB, hence the reason you cannot install Win7.
