There is this girl I really like, she was dating this douchebag for a long time like 7 months. And he treated her like crap made her cry and hurt her. Almost everyday it was something new, I've always been there for her but yet she still likes him.

He broke up with her. For now she says because he got in trouble for having porn on his computer, and had to go to court for it. But I don't know what to do. I've told her how I feel, and I've asked her to go out with me, she says she has to get over him, but I don't know if they will get back together again.

I just feel like I am better for her and I do not think she deserves to be treated like that from him.

Sorry guy, as much as you may feel you are the better man, its up to the way she feels. AS long as she is waiting to see if he changes, or get over him, then you are wasting your time, and may never get her to feel as you do.

Illogical as it seems, you better let her make up her own mind without your influence, because feelings can be quite illogical and down right confusing.

So stop wasting your time. Yeah its hard, but for the best. Go out with someone that's single, free, and fun!

You can get in trouble over porn? I mean if this guy was looking at 'that' kind of porn than maybe he's not exactly a cool cat, but I digress
All I can say is steer clear of this girl, she knows what she wants and you don't want to get between a guy and his lady, trust me, I was once like this kid, aside from the porn thing, I wasn't exactly the level headed kid that's talking to you today, and if you really don't want her to get hurt you'd let things work themselves out, don't be a walking target for this guy, and don't antagonize this girl in this dude's eyes
Plus, man, plus, do you want to be involved with the kind of girl who gets it with cats like this kid? I don't think so man.
