Well my husband, during the beginning period of his sleep, jumps up, is confused will start talking about things you do not know what he is saying, will ask for things like where is the inmate, etc. He is working at correctional services. He will say that he can't breath, and his heart beats fast than faster. We did a sleep apnea test, where it came out negative. He smokes and also gets a tingling feeling in his feet and fingers. It can take up to 3-5 minutes just to calm him down and to ensure him that it's okay. When he jumps up off the bed, just between 1 - 20 minutes after he fell asleep, he will gasp for air and run and tel you that he doesn't get air, he's going to die. Please help, I do not know what this triggers, as this is several years now, plus minus 10 already. I really want to help him! Lorraine
