I've been to the doctors last week and did a blood test for pregnancy haven't gotten the results yet I went to see her Friday she never called with the results I bought a cheap pregnancy test from the dollar store and it came out negative it said on the box it can detect pregnancy a day before your period and I took it s week before my period was due I think it's due November 17th my last period was October 6th and I had another period October 18th so I'm guessing my period should be due in 2 or 3 days give or take could I have done that pregnancy test too early? I haven't gotten a period yet and I'm not on birth control pills anymore I had stopped taking them November 1st and I had intercourse November 2nd and November 9th I have cramping but not bad and I don't know what to think I'm expecting my period and I'm not sure if I should wait another week for another pregnancy test? Though I don't Think I could be since it's unlikely I could have conceived Anyone have any suggestions what should I do? My dr hasn't called me about the results and I'm not sure the lab sent it to them if anyone has suggestions or any opinions I'm open to hear them.

I would give your doctor's office a call and ask about your lab results. With irregular cycles, it can be difficult to determine when your next period might actually be due. By the time you wait long enough to try another home pregnancy test, you would have the blood test results back anyway.

I think that's what I'm going to do call this damn dr back sick of waiting for them when I was on birth control my periods were coming somewhat regular I was having them twice in a month for 2 months I went off and now no period usually I start right away after I get off but I will call the dr see what they say my hopes aren't high on this one.
