I was a credit card holder in 2009. From then for amount of 60k they are asking 130k
I was a credit card holder in 2009. When I had money I used it any paid the used amount promptly. My card limit was 60k. Later I lost everything in business and I was not able to pay the remaining amount. At last when they called me and said that my card was in over due, i.e it was 63k change. Then I paid 15k.it means my card due was around 47k by that time (in middle of 2009). For that now they are asking me to pay Rs.128952/-. Right now I don't have any job. That money I very very huge for me.. please show some solution for me.

Amount has skyrocketed because they are adding interest, At a substantial rate, from 09. If they have been awarded a judgment against you, you don't have many options but to pay.

It's not hard for a delinquent account to double in 2 years with interest and fees. If they sue they will get a judgement. But if you have no income or assets it will be hard for them to collect.

But a judgment can last for 20 yrs so when you get back on your feet, they will start collecting.

There really is little you can do. You can try offering a settlement. But if you have nothing to pay I'm not sure how you can do that.
