My husband and I are getting a divorce. My husband owned the house before we got married. He transfer the title of the house to his father so that he would not have to give me anything, he claims that he is paying rent now to my father inlaw. My mother is staying with me for two month and my father inlaw wants to evict my mother even though I am a tenant can he do that?

First if he did not really sell the house, and this is an attempt to hide property division, it will not stop you from making a claim, fake and fraud land sales and transfers are not binding if you prove it.

But depending on where you live, normally if he owned it before you got married you do not have a claim to it anyway, but if you live in a area where you would have a claim, you can still claim it, his attempt to hide it will not work.( or should not anyway)
