    I have shingles can I be around someone on chemo?
    My shingles are almost gone. I have a friend with liver cancer and on chemo. Can I be around her without her getting shingles?

    When say your shingles are almost gone... have they scabbed,and have the scabbs fallen off?

    If the answer is yes,then you are no longer contageous.

    However,I personally would stay away.

    You could phone your local surgery,tell them the situation with your friend,they will then give you their advice from a medical point of view.
