My girlfriend and I had sex, and a week later she had her period. She is and was on birth control. Yet, I'm freaking out because she has been feeling very sick every morning, and tonight she was throwing up. So is it possible she could be pregnant? Please help! Thank you so much

It will always be possible if you are having sex. Could the birth control she is using been used incorrectly... such as missing a pill here or there if she is using birth control pills?

Odds are low since the sex was right before a period, but not impossible. Also, low if she was using birth control well. She could always try a pregnancy test.

Perhaps she is just ill. Certainly if she is throwing up regularly for a few days, it would be wise for her to see her doctor. They will check for pregnancy there as well.
