How to get my wife out of the house?
Hello everyone, OK I'm a male I'm disabled and my wife recently became disabled to we have been fighting for three years we have had restraning orders, domestic violence you name it she is bipolar and phsycotic, she has spent time in mental instition this year but they released her. She has ruined my life destoyed my family etc. She is on felony probation for failer to pay child support she owes 30,000 and I didn't know this before we got married. She has family to live with, I do not the house is in my name my grandmother wrote a check for the house and gave it to me the deed says my name a married man. We have no money for divorce and I want her out now before I end up in jail the last time the cops were here they took her next time they will take me and when I get out I will have nothing. I am trapped in a living hell and she won't leave, now her disability is effecting mine and its effecting are help with utility bills and food stamps. She is just plain lazy and didn't file her city income tax which it required by law and the city solitor is threatening me to pay the late fee. Some please give good advise this is a serious matter there are no kids involved because of our physycal problems we can't even have sex for 2 years now I can't take it and she is on self destruct

Wow, ironmike, why don't you leave the matrimonial house and go to a shelter; good thing no children involved. At least if you went somewhere else you would find peace and quiet and have meals and warm bed. Right ?

Can't leave her home alone she is ill and could burn down house, she leaves stoves burners on everyday and coffee maker, plus her family are a bunch of thieves they would clean me out. I've thought of going to woodland centers crisis unit just to speak to someone and see if they can chill my nerves out but I can't leave her here alone. She calls 911 sometimes and the cops are here anything could happen

Iron, didn't know it was that bad, gosh. You have to speak to counselling and see what can be done to protect you, and her (from herself more likely).

How did she get this way, or has she always been that way?

Is there anyway you can get her committed again. If you're saying she is incompetent and could possibly burn down the house, I'm pretty sure that qualifies as " possibly hurting herself or others" which I think is a valid reason to be committed. You should talk to her doctor's or yours and see what they say. That sounds like the best way to get some help. If you're disabled yourself you can also call Adult Protective Services and say you're worried for your safety and that she is not stable and that you are not in any condition to take care of her nor her you. That's your best bet I think. You can also see if you can find some lawyers that will do some pro bono work. I got my bankruptcy done pro bono not sure if they do that for divorces but worth looking into I'd say.. Good Luck, stay safe.
