    Goodman GMNT040-3b LP questions..
    Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I have a couple questions surrounding my Goodman furnace. It's a GMNT040-3b and the tag says it was made in 99. It has an energy star tag on it but its still over 12 years old. So, first I am wondering how efficient it is. My propane bill was astronomical last year and I live in GA of all places. My second question is if it is not very efficient is it worth anything to sell it (to help with cost of a new one). Finally with this furnace what kind of square footage can I effectively heat with it. The biggest question though is how efficient is it compared with what's out there today? And is it worth replacing?
Thank you everyone for your time,
    Rex

I'm shopping for a new forced air furnace. The lowest price I have is for a high efficiency furnace made by Goodman. Never heard of this manufacturer. What is the quality rating for Goodman high efficiency furnaces? Thanks
