    Married but filing separate
    If my husband owes back federal taxes and back child support and we just got married June 3, 2006. Can we file Married but separate and will I still get my return back?

    Yes, filing separately is one way to handle it.

    You can also file as an Injured Spouse and get your allocated portion of the refund.
