    Can you tell me what my back pain may indicate?
    I am having severe middle back pain and neck pain its been going on for about 2 and a half weeks and I want to make sure that its not anything serious can you tell me what it could be

    What's your lifestyle like? -- you sit a lot? Lift heavy boxes? Bend a lot?

    Have you fallen or been in a car accident at the beginning of this?

    Did you notice a sudden pain as the start of this?

    I have two kids 2 and 4 so I do a lot of sitting,bending,lifting, etc. I haven't been in a car accident or fallen and yes I did notice a sudden start

    I'm not a doctor, so have no idea what this could be. I strongly suggest you visit either your family doctor who may want you to get x-rays or even an MRI to see if there's a bulging disc that's pressing on nerves or something else out of place.

    Another option could be to visit a good chiropractor who would do similar tests and realign your spine. Shiatsu (acupressure) could be another option.
