    My fathers ashes
    My father passed away in December last year, he was married for 5years and there is me and my brother left, she has got his ashes and has a new boyfriend has done since 7month, she has got no intentions of putting my dad to rest proply all I want is that I have some where to go and visit him but she is not intrested, is there anything have I got any right to get his ashes and do something nice with them.

    It's up to the executor of your father's estate to make the determination as to what to do with the ashes. So - who was the executor? And did your father's will say anything about what he wanted to be done with his remains?

    What you can do is talk with her and get a memorial going where he may eventually lay at rest after she has passed. It will give you a place to go to during the interim.
