Changing out 208v high bays to 120v LED high bays. I want to know if I can just jump off one leg of the 208v for my 120v fixture.

From a NEMA L6-30 3-prong connector in the lab, it measures 212V btwn two prongs and 122V btwn any of the two prongs to the third prong. Based on this info alone, is it a 3 phase 208V system or a 1 phase 208 system?
How to get 120v from 208v

I have 208v 3 phase in my building and to my machine, but I need 120v to run my conveyor. How can I wire it to get 120v off the 208 3 phase wires? I used the green, white and black wires and checking from the ground to each leg I get 125v but from leg to leg I get 211v. Can someone please help me?

Is there still a six throw rule in the NEC that would allow for a 600 Amp 3 Phase 4 Wire 120/208 Volt Main Lug Only Service or am I required to install a main breaker. The CT cabinet is a couple of feet away.
480v Stepped Down To 120/208v

If I have a 600A 480v service and I step in down to 120/208, will I have an increase of available amperes at the lower voltage? Or will the amperage remain the same no matter how I change the voltage? Thanks View more questions Search
