    Is this thesis on the book The Razor's Edge okay?
    Larry's loss of his friend in the war lead him on a spiritual quest where he finds self-happiness and is finally at peace with himself.

    The main verb should be singular. There's no such thing as "self-happiness."

    What about the more materialistic characters who were in sharp contrast to Larry?
