Very minor car accident in akrin lot, my fault, I have no license
I was involved in a minor accident in a restaurant parking lot. I was reversing slowly in my parking space to straighten up within the lines. My vision was abstructed due to being between 2 large vans. I did not see the car behind me until it was too late. I had no speed and just basically rolled into him. The police did not come due to being on private property. The BIG problem is that I was driving my mom's car and I have no license and my mom's insurance had lapsed. The other driver is willing to allow me to pay for the minor and , in my opinion, no real damages. It is still going to be a lot of money that I do not have and he is pressuring to take car of it immediately, which I understand. If cannot come up with the money and he reports it to his insurance compnay, what will be my consequences?
Thanks,

The insurance company will sue you for the damages, and you might be charged with a crime: driving without a license.
What, by the way, is an "akrin lot"?

Since the police were not called I doubt if you can be charged with any law breaking.
However, he can sue and get a judgment against you. My recommendation is either borrow the money or arrange a payment option.

Where is "Akrin"? Did the Police not come to the accident scene or weren't the Police called? That's two different things.
Depending on when this happened he can report to the Police - that you were driving without a drivers license and that your mother was both allowing you to drive and allowing you to drive an uninsured vehicle. If this goes to Court and there is a money judgment against you as the result of a MV accident AND you are in NY you (and your mother) will lose your driver's licenses (not a problem, of course, for you because you don't have a license) until the Judgment is paid in full - with interest.

Good point:
United States
Akron, Alabama
Akron, Colorado
Akron, Indiana
Akron, Iowa
Akron, Michigan
Akron, New York
Akron, Pennsylvania
Akron, West Virginia
Akron Township, Illinois
Akron Township, Michigan
Akron Township, Big Stone County, Minnesota
Akron Township, Wilkin County, Minnesota
Or, in some other country.
Never knew before that the word is from the Greek for "summit".

This is the problem, you have to pay him, and your mom had better help pay. They will sue you and your mom ( since it is her car) for the money, and if it is reported to the DMV, she could get her license suspended and you would not be able to get one till it is paid.
So you and mom had better figure out where to borrow money, what to sell and how to find the money.
