Where can I find a bimetal pilot assembly for a Janitrol J-Line Natural Gas Furnace?
I've recently purchased a home and soon after moving in scheduled a furnace inspection. Well the furnace is 35 years old and needs a new pilot assembly. Unfortunately due to the age of the furnace this isn't easy to come by. I've Google searched, I've tried Ebay and nothing. I'd like to see if I can get this thing to last another season or two and this one part would keep me from having to replace the whole thing. The Furnace repair guy said if I am lucky enough to find a bimetal pilot assembly for a Janitrol J-Line Natural Gas Furnace, the unit should work fine. Otherwise if the pilot ever goes out it will continue to pump gas into my home, which would not be a good thing. I'm not able to locate a model number (neither was the furnace guy) but the placard inside says that it's a 100,000 BTU Janitrol Gas Fired Conditioner with serial Number 0660H5540. I've attached pictures of the part and the placard. Let me know if anyone knows where I can locate this part.

    Thanks,

    -Mark
