When I go to the bathroom, there's blood.
When I go to the bathroom, there's blood -- not all the time, but once or twice a month. Doesn't matter if it's hard or loose. I'm 26 years old and male. I also get a lot of heartburn and my stomach gets bloated.

You need to be checked out by a Physician - could be anything from hemorrhoids to a tumor (benign or otherwise). When did you have your most recent colonoscopy?

I understand but some cancer prevention agencies offer free colonoscopies - you would have to check around.

Age matters little if you have symptoms. I have a relative who was diagnosed in her early 30's - she had all the symptoms and the Doctors took a long time to order the colonoscopy and diagnose her. The good news is after chemo she is considered "cured" and it's been about 7 years.

    You need to be checked.
