I have an Intertherm Electric Furnace E2EB-015AH. I came home from work last night, turned the heat on and it didn't work as advertised. I could hear the relays clicking occasionally so I investigated a little and found the elements are heating up and cycling, the relay inside the thermostat cycles...

New furnace makes "roar" noise on ignition/start of blower

The furnace is 4 months old, in a trailer. Two days ago, I thought I heard metal clanking, like something falling. Since then, the furnace "roars" like a fireplace on initiation of the fan- after I hear the ignition kick in. It was only occasionally, but has become more regular, now. Thank you.
