    I am heartbroken to say we put Sofie to sleep yesterday, this was the hardest decision I have ever had to make.

    So sorry you were even found yourself in the position of having to consider this decision, but am empathetic for you. Know that the time you have taken in doing so will ease the pain more quickly, as you now realize you have done all that was possible for you to do, this being your last, and least desirable, choice.
