    Vitamin d deficiency in pregnancy
My daughter is 14 weeks pregnant and was told during her first visit that blood work was low in vitamin d. There are so many doses of vitamin d at the store that she is confused as to what to buy. I know that vitamin d is a fat soluble vitamin and am trying to help her while she's down visiting me to obtain a safe dose. Any ideas?( she said it would be either 1000 units twice a day or 2000 units twice a day.) Also, is an a1c test truly accurate when testing for gestational diabetes? Test came out negative but she's been having feelings of low blood sugar. Has 1 past pregnancy with gestational diabetes.
