I just replaced the batteries on my thermostat but now my furnace won't go on
I replaced the batteries on my thermostat yesterday and tried to get my furnace going but it won't stay on. I've flipped a couple switches on and off and it will kick on but will not stay on.

Was it working fine before you replaced the batteries or was it doing what its doing now?

It was working fine. The batteries in the thermostat died and I tried to increase the temperature but couldn't due to the unresponsive thermostat. It was programmed to go down to 65 during working hours when I'm usually at work but was home sick and wanted it warmer. I replaced the batteries and now the furnace won't respond. I increase the temperature in the thermostat and nothing happens. Is there some type of reset switch that I need to trigger in the furnace itself?
