Question about continuity of a function..
Q: Find the interval on which the given function is continuous. Also find points where it is discontinuous:
    f(x)= x/|x|
Function is f(x)= x divided by modulus of x
Plz tell me its solution with step by step...?

Well you've been here a while now so this should be no surprise to you

Do not simply retype or paste a question from your book or study material

We won't do your homework questions for you.
You were given the assignment for you to learn.

If you come up with your own answer and post it for us to critique that is within reason.

If you have some SPECIFIC questions that you couldn't find or didn't understand, we may help with that.
But this is your assignment, so show us you have at least attempted to complete it on your own.

    Thank you.

I'll help get you started. Draw a graph of the function f(x) and see how it looks. Be sure to include some positive and negative values, as well as 0. The function is continuous wherever the resulting graph has a smooth shape. It is discontinuous wherever the graph "jumps" from one value to the next, like a stair step, or is undefined. Try this, and post back with what you find.
