    Child Abandonment
I have a little boy that is almost 6 weeks old and his dad is my soon to be ex husband. He has only gave me about 56 dollars since our baby has been alive. When is he considered to have abandoned him? If at all that is, and should I bring it to the courts when we go?

    Please read this first: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family...st-364259.html

Then come back and tell us what you really want. Like are you looking for child support? Also, it appears you are going through a divorce already, had anything been mentioned of legal and physical custody, support, visitation?

Nothing has legally been set up (he has been staying with me) and I can't afford a lawyer at this point because I don't have a job. We can't set anything up yet either because of that. I would like to get full Custody of the baby, it doesn't matter about the child support.

You don't need an attorney, though it is a good idea. But you DO need to file for legal and physical custody. It would be a good idea to also file support. If you can't afford an attorney, then you need all the income you can get to raise your child.
